Can there possibly be a better holiday destination than a Republic which exists beyond the confines of time and space? Tonight our line-up of four fabulous cellists join the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic to take us on a trip around the world and through history, and we’ll do this in the record time of a single evening concert, as they present a repertoire ranging from the classics to the present-day. We’ll be hearing jazz, swing, rock’n roll, golden oldies from the 60s, rock, world music and movie favourites in fresh arrangements by Jiří Kabát and Petr Wajsar.

Cello Republic are a unique line-up of four international award-winning cellists, soloists, teachers and classical music facilitators who have made a name for themselves both here and abroad, on YouTube, and just about everywhere they go, with sell-out audiences, unforgettable experiences and millions of online views. 

Their artistic vision is to take their performances to the highest level with  innovative arrangements and a scintillating splash of humour.
