OLGA SCHEPS piano
Olga Scheps is an internationally renowned pianist acclaimed for her unique musical style combining strong emotion and powerful expression with consummate piano technique. Her peformances - whether solo, with an orchestra or in chamber recitals - are very well received and she appears regularly in the world’s most prestigious concert halls with the Elbe Philharmonie in Hamburg, the Berlin and Cologne Philharmonic Orchestras, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, London’s Cadogan Hall, the Tonhalle in Zurich and Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and is much sought-after as a guest at the major European music festivals.
Tonight she plays the unique Beethoven’s sonatas, in the second half we hear four ballades by Frederic Chopin, rated by many as among the most challenging performance pieces in the standard piano repertoire.
