HARMONIA MORAVIAE 2021

HARMONIA MORAVIAE 2021

It’s that time of the year when the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra once again presents its traditional autumn Harmonia Moraviae festival.

This year’s festival, taking place for the 19th time, runs from 23rd September - 21st October and, as in previous years, offers a fascinating programme with a series of remarkable artists from the world of classical music.

Harmonia Moraviae 2021 comprises seven concerts in all, featuring musicians such as the  mezzo-soprano Markéta Cukrová, the bassoonist Michaela Špačková, the pianist Jan Bartoš, the Musica da camera Brno ensemble, the Graffe Quartet and many others.

The Festival opens with the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Gala Evening on 23. 9. 2021 at the Congress Centre when the German-Russian pianist Olga Scheps will be gracing the stage along with the Orchestra under the baton of our new Chief Conductor Robert Kružík. It concludes with a special ‘Profiles of Zlín’ Gala Evening also being staged to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Orchestra here in Zlín, with a truly exceptional line-up of well-wishers at the Congress Centre including the violinist Václav Hudeček and the Orchestra’s Concert Master Ivana Kovalčíková, the singers Adam Plachetka and Kateřina Kněžíková, and the pianist Ivo Kahánek. This special evening will also see the official launch of the Orchestra’s new double album ‘Profiles of Zlín’ or Zlínské linie, recorded last year with these artists.

You can find more  information about the programme on the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic’s web pages.

Tickets for the Harmonia Moraviae 2021 concerts are now on sale online on our web pages or direct from the box office at the Zlín Congress Centre.
